Contracts with subcontractors are being assembled long term, while Bios d.o.o. its subcontractors in favor of cumulative production provides seeds of quality varieties of vegetables with controlled originally, preventive assets as well as fertilizers so the cooperation with subcontractor from year to year expands and promotes. Today we have around a hundred subcontractors - business partners of Bios d.o.o. in production of tuber, span and laminated vegetables.

Commerce company Bios d.o.o. nowadays employs 60 permanently employed workers, while in accordance with requirements employs seasonal workers.

In last two years there has been significant investment in extending and enhancing of production as well as improvement of technological process, so the state-of-the-art lines have been purchased for washing and calibration of potatoes and carrots. We are scheduled to extend our sales to foreign countries, particularly to neighboring states. We have obtained state-of-the-art line of >vegetable for stew> as well as contemporary lines for family packing of potatoes and onion, so called vero bag line, wherewith value of goods is increased, requirements of large mercantile chains for contemporary packing are set as well as organizing business in households for preparation of ready made food. These packages are familiar and acceptable to our customers with the health and environmental side (foil and foil was biodegradable).

We introduced a new phase of vegetable treatment in production: line of peeled and vaccumed goods (program "convenience,,) that is analysis of peeled potatoes, carrots, onion and sawn red and white cabbage with vaccuming and confectioning (plates, cubes, waves, pommes) etc. In this cose Bios has first in Croatia installed manufacturing line by which through technologic treatment, value of articles on base of same raw materials is increased by two. This line is intended primarily for Horeca customers..

Commercial position of commerce association Bios d.o.o. today stands great on the home market, also preparations have been made for export of contemporarily packed vegetables in neighboring countires. Bios d.o.o. provides with packing of fresh vegetables all merchant chains in Croatia (Metro, Getro, Kerum, Billa, Konzum, Lidl, Mercator, Plodine, Presoflex, Spar, Tommy, kaufland...). Also with products from this program several hotel and gastronomy companies are suplied and in progress are activities for the export of these products.
